Our team will meet you at Kochi's airport, railway station, or bus stand and set off toward Munnar. On the drive up, you'll break the journey at the Cheyyappara and Valara waterfalls, then move through long stretches of tea estates where the road itself becomes a series of photo stops. A short walk through a spice and flower garden rounds off the day before you check in to your hotel for the night.

About Dream Holidays Kerala

Guest reviews of our 5 Days Munnar Thekkady Alleppey Holiday Package often mention the same thing: how easy the whole trip felt from start to finish. That feedback shapes how we plan every itinerary that follows.

Escape Into Eternal Happiness

A Voyage to God's Own Country

Making a memorable Kerala holiday with friends or family begins with proper planning to avoid hectic schedules and digital distractions.

Kerala Backwater Sunset

A good Kerala holiday usually starts with a decision to switch off, work emails, group chats, the constant scroll, and just be present for a few days. Dream Holidays built this 5-day route around that idea:
cool hill mornings in Munnar, forest air and the possibility of a wild elephant sighting in Thekkady, and finally the unhurried rhythm of a houseboat gliding through Alleppey's backwaters.
There's no fixed rush between stops; you're free to stretch a viewpoint stop a little longer or sit with one more cup of Munnar tea before moving on. By the time you're back home, what stays with you isn't the itinerary, it's how much slower everything felt.

Kerala keeps changing character as you move through it, misty hills one day, still backwaters the next, with spice-laced forests and old trading towns in between.

Built Around How You Want to Travel

No two travellers want the same trip, so we don't hand out fixed itineraries. Every Dream Holidays package is shaped around your budget, pace, and priorities, whether that's a honeymoon, a family holiday, or a wildlife-focused escape. That flexibility runs through everything: how long you stay in each town, which houseboat category you pick in Alleppey, whether you want extra time inside Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Pick from homestays, eco-resorts, boutique hotels, or premium houseboats, and our team will handle the logistics while you focus on the trip itself. Getting there is only half of it-what happens once you arrive matters just as much. Our driver-guides know which stretch of road in Munnar is worth an unplanned stop, which Thekkady evening is worth staying out a little later for, and how to time the Alleppey backwaters so you're not sharing the canal with a dozen other boats. None of that shows up on a printed itinerary, but it's usually what people remember most once they're back home.

The Details That Make the Trip

Alleppey's backwaters have a particular stillness to them, palm-lined canals, a houseboat easing along without any real schedule to keep. Onboard evenings usually mean a proper Kerala Sadhya or a seafood spread cooked fresh, karimeen pollichathu, soft parottas, chicken simmered in local spice. Thekkady runs on a different rhythm, the distant sound of elephants somewhere in the reserve, a quiet boat crossing the lake at dusk, spice estates releasing their scent as the evening cools. We try to keep these details consistent across every stay we arrange, so the only thing left for you to do is actually enjoy them. Munnar has its own version of this same quiet- mist sitting low over the tea gardens until mid-morning, the smell of fresh-cut leaves carrying further than you'd expect, a hot cup of estate-grown tea that tastes nothing like what comes out of a packet back home. Evenings there tend to slow down early, wood-fired dinners, the temperature dropping just enough for a blanket to feel earned, no real reason to check a phone. It's the same principle carried through every stop on the trip: less about ticking off a sight, more about actually being where you are for a while.

What People Remember Afterward

Most travellers don't remember the exact route months later, they remember how little they had to think about while on it. A driver who already knew the way between Munnar, Thekkady, and Alleppey. A houseboat that was ready and waiting exactly when it was supposed to be. A phone call that got answered without delay. Those small things end up mattering more than the sightseeing list. That's really what we're aiming for with every Dream Holidays trip, less logistics to worry about, more actual time spent enjoying Kerala.

FAQs

Which are the top places covered in the 5 Days Munnar Thekkady Alleppey Holiday Package?
This package covers Munnar's Cheyyappara and Valara waterfalls, tea plantations, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and the Tea Museum; Thekkady's Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and lake; and a private houseboat cruise through the Alleppey backwaters, along with a short Kochi city tour on the final day.
What is the ideal time to visit Kerala?
October to March brings the most pleasant weather for sightseeing, wildlife spotting, and houseboat cruises. If Ayurvedic treatments are on your list, June to September, Kerala's monsoon season, is generally considered better suited for it.
Are meals included in the package?
Breakfast is part of the package every day, and once you're on the houseboat in Alleppey, lunch and dinner are covered too. If you'd rather have all your meals sorted at the Munnar and Thekkady hotels as well, we can add a full-board upgrade for an extra charge.
What type of accommodation is available in this package?
You can choose anywhere from budget hotels to premium resorts and deluxe houseboats, depending on what fits your comfort level at each stop of the trip.
Can the 5 Days Munnar Thekkady Alleppey Holiday Package be customized?
Yes. Sightseeing stops can be adjusted, any one destination can get extra time, houseboat categories can be upgraded, and add-ons like spice plantation tours or a Kathakali performance can be built in on request.
Is the Periyar Lake boat cruise in Thekkady included?
A standard boat cruise is usually part of the sightseeing plan. Premium add-ons like bamboo rafting or a guided early-morning nature walk inside the sanctuary can be arranged separately for an extra cost.
